From 2005 to 2015 I owned a 1/3rd share in a Bach (beach house) with my cousin Matthew and his wife Sarena.
It is a very nice place, but I wasn't able to get there as often as planned and in terms of return on investment and capital gains it was not positive. It has now been sold to some folks who are enthusiastic enough to visit more regularly, so good on them!
